Parish centre retrofit
C-Linder Peer
C-Linder in Peer is a parish centre whose functional and ambient lighting was renewed with a Loxone-based control system. A custom synoptic panel with DMX dimmable lighting gives staff clear control and dimming feedback, motion detectors add automatic operation, and everything switches off when the room is left. Audio was upgraded with a media player and wireless microphone.

01 / Challenge
What the project had to solve.
The parish centre needed a relighting scheme that improved both functional and ambient light while making the multipurpose space easier for staff and visitors to use. Controls had to be clear rather than technical, with visible feedback on the dimming level so that anyone could see whether a lighting group was active and adjust it confidently. The lighting also had to switch off automatically when the room was left, so that convenience did not come at the cost of energy wasted in an empty building.
02 / Response
How the system was delivered.
The partner designed, supplied and commissioned the lighting control system for the renovated multipurpose space. A custom-made synoptic control panel works with DMX dimmable lighting and the Loxone system, so the whole room can be operated from one clear interface with dimming feedback. Central LED drivers and dimmers provide flicker-free dimming matched to each function, and motion detectors add automatic operation. Audio was extended with a convenient media player and a Shure wireless microphone, with all the technology housed in custom-made furniture.

“The system allows everyone to easily and clearly control all the lighting in our centre. The dimmable push buttons are especially handy: you can see whether the lighting is active inside or outside, and adjust the dimming level clearly.”
