About

Engineering the intelligence layer.

We are the smart-building and IBMS practice of Loxone Intelligent Building (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd., combining Loxone's automation platform with building-systems engineering from Guangzhou.

01 / Who we are

A platform company's discipline, an engineering team's habits.

Legal entity

Loxone Intelligent Building (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd.

Engineering base: Guangzhou, China

Loxone Intelligent Building designs and delivers IBMS platforms for commercial, hospitality and residential projects. Our team works at the seam between the automation platform and the building’s existing systems: HVAC, lighting, access, security, energy and guest room control.

We are part of Loxone’s global ecosystem — a platform built since 2009, deployed through partners in more than 100 countries and used in more than 30,000 projects. That network gives our projects a mature product foundation; our own work is the architecture, configuration and commissioning that makes it fit a specific building.

Our engineering base is in Guangzhou, with project delivery across China and support for overseas developers, consultants and integrators.

03 / Design method

Five layers, from strategy to surface.

Adapted from the experience-design framework we use on every IBMS project. Each layer constrains the one above it.

01

Strategy

What the building must achieve for its owner, operator and occupants. Agreed before any screen is designed.

02

Scope

Which systems, data points, alarms and reports are in. What is explicitly out.

03

Structure

How operators move through the system: navigation, roles, permissions and escalation paths.

04

Framework

The layout of the operating picture: alarm hierarchy, floor plans, trends and command placement.

05

Surface

The visible interface: graphics, typography, colour and the details that make a command obvious.

Campus render

The method applied to a building

04 / Principles

Four rules we do not negotiate.

Local first

Control and history stay in the building. The cloud is an option, not a dependency.

Open by default

BACnet, Modbus, KNX, DALI, API. The building’s data is the owner’s data.

Operator first

Designed for the person on shift, not the integrator’s demo.

Evidence over claims

Targets, baselines and trend logs. If it cannot be measured, it is not an outcome.

Loxone Group

A platform built over 15 years.

Loxone Group has been building the automation platform since 2009. The group mission is to make buildings simpler to operate, more comfortable and more energy-efficient.

05 / Global & local

Global platform. Local engineering.

Loxone Group builds the automation platform in Austria. Our team specifies, configures and commissions it for real buildings from Guangzhou — with the documentation, training and support that operators need after handover.

  • Austrian platform engineering
  • Guangzhou-based project delivery
  • English and Chinese documentation
  • Commissioning and operator training
